Why Different Language Versions of the CPC Comprehensive Exam?
When you test your students and English is not their primary language, do you want to be testing their proficiency in English or their proficiency with the business topics? Clearly you want to assess their competency level associated with the CPC topics identified by ACBSP and IACBE. By having native-language competency exams, your test results can more accurately reflect proficiency in the subject rather than the language.

What are the CPC Requirements?
Business schools obtaining and/or sustaining ACBSP/IACBE accreditation must demonstrate student competency associated with topical areas depending upon the specific accreditation program. In response to these accreditation requirements, we have developed online comprehensive exams for the bachelors and graduate level business programs.

For business program accreditation with ACBSP and IACBE, you must demonstrate program accountability to your stakeholders including government regulators, students, and your governing bodies as well as for the accreditation entities. Our CPC comprehensive exams will help you maintain the required level of accountability by providing you with direct measures and student benchmarking in business education.

As defined by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), the Common Professional Component (CPC) includes the following business topics:

Our CPC Comprehensive Exams
Exam versions are based on the academic level of the student (bachelors and graduate levels). Unlike other vendors of CPC comprehensive tests, we use unique material that is appropriate for the student's degree level. Unique material based on the academic degree level is another essential requirement for accreditation direct measurement.

We currently offer two CPC Comprehensive exam versions translated into languages other than English: one for the bachelors' academic level (4-year university degree) and one for the graduate academic level (masters and doctoral degrees) of higher education.

We developed the exam material from leading textbooks within the industry of business education from McGraw-Hill and Cengage Learning. Test questions represent the core knowledge requirements for CPC competency and proficiency as defined by the CPC guidelines established by ACBSP and IACBE.

Application of a CPC Comprehensive Exam
A CPC comprehensive exam works well as an in/out direct measure assessment instrument for your academic program as required for accreditation. For example, at the start of a student's graduate program, the CPC comprehensive exam is taken by the student. The score serves as the student's initial competency benchmark at the start of the program.

At the end of the student's program, a similar test is administered. Each test is unique, but generated from the same bank of test questions. The difference in the two scores is an indication of the learning success of your program and by the student. A direct assessment approach represents a direct measurement of academic learning as required by ACBSP and IACBE accreditation.

Comprehensive exams work very well for student benchmarking (taken before and after a program of study or degree plan). A comprehensive exam can also be included at the end of program within your CAPSTONE program. Comprehensive exams demonstrate learning accountability and can help you meet accreditation and higher learning regulatory requirements.

Our CPC Test Bank
The test bank for our CPC comprehensive exams includes 40 questions per CPC topic. A comprehensive exam includes 120 questions (10 questions per CPC topic). Individual test questions are selected at random from the test bank. Every CPC comprehensive exam is unique.

The Testing Program
At the end of an online test, the student receives a completion certificate in PDF format that shows an overall score along with specific scores by CPC topic and subtopic. Once submitted to the student's professor or other institutional designee, the certificate serves as your confirmation of test completion.

CPC Test Result Reports
Once you become a client university with Peregrine Academic Services, we will issue you a unique password so that you have full on-line access to the test results for your students. You can filter records as necessary and generate your own customized reports. You can also download the test results so that you can maintain a complete record of the testing program for all of your students.

The summary reports list the students who have completed the exam and scores along with summary results based on a specific search interval. You determine the interval you wish to summarize (e. g. student cohort, month, course, semester, etc.).

CPC Comprehensive Exam Costs and Discounts
The price for a CPC comprehensive exam is based on single-unit delivery. We can also readily produce and send you by e-mail and/or hardcopy exam keys in volume format. Exam keys are valid for 120 days and can be used by only one student. Once an online testing session has been started, the student has 48 hours to complete the session before the exam key expires. Our testing process restrictions are necessary in order to protect the integrity of the online testing service. Exam keys are delivered within an Excel spreadsheet file so that the exam keys can be directly copy/pasted into the online form. Students also have the option of purchasing the exam keys directly from us using our secure e-commerce site.

Our comprehensive CPC exams cover all 12 CPC topics. The CPC tests are available for the bachelors and graduate academic degree levels at a cost of $40 (US) per test. Students take the tests on-line. Discounts for quantity purchases of the CPC Comprehensive Exam keys are as follows:
