How Do You Measure Up? Business Degree COMP Exams

Our comprehensive (COMP) services that are based upon the Common Professional Component (CPC) for business education allow you to demonstrate direct measures of learning, conduct assessments, and perform Malcolm Baldrige benchmarking as required by the accreditation entities and government regulators.

The comprehensive exam covers 12 CPC topical areas most commonly associated with business degree higher learning. Exam versions are based on the academic level of the student (bachelors, masters, and doctoral). The comprehensive exam works well as an entrance/exit (in/out) direct measure assessment for your academic program, both for the individual student as well as for the overall business program. Specific COMP exams can be customized to reduce the number of topics included or to expand the content of the exam. You determine the business topic content areas for your specific COMP exam requirements.

Stop the Bleeding! An Online APA Writing Style Course

Most higher learning schools and programs require students to submit their written work using APA writing style. Although there are a number of websites with APA writing style tips and examples, to the best of our knowledge, there is no actual online training program in APA – until now.

Our American Psychological Association (APA) writing style training and testing program is the only such training program currently available. Using our online APA training and testing program, course professors and students can focus on paper content rather than spend so much time focused on style and format.

We have created a two-part APA online program. Part I consists of a 150-question interactive training program that reviews 17 APA topical areas. There are 10-15 pages of instructional content that precede each set of interactive questions. Although it is helpful to have the APA guide with the student while taking the online training program, it is not essential because there is enough instructional content to provide the necessary background and understanding of APA writing style. The instructional content sections and the interactive question sections show both correct and incorrect examples of APA requirements.

Academic Leveling Courses for Bridging the Gap in Business Education

We provide Associates, Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral level courses for academic leveling based upon CPC topical area with unique material for each academic degree level. Each course included online pre- and post-tests for direct learning measurement. All courses can be customized to meet your specific educational requirements, expanding or contracting content as you require.

Our business program Academic Leveling courses can be used:

• Transitional course between an associate's degree and the bachelor's program.
• End of the bachelor's program as a CAPSTONE or signature project course.
• Start of the master's program as a transition from undergraduate to graduate, leveling the student to the curriculum
• Start of a doctoral program as a transition to a business doctoral degree, leveling the student to the program of study.

The academic leveling courses are typically divided into three units. Each unit covers four business subject areas. Each course unit has a pre-test and a post-test. The purpose of the pretest is to establish a baseline competency level. The purpose of the post-test is to assess business topic competency after instruction by your course professors. The pre-test is used to measure the competency baseline of the learner and then their post-test is used to evaluate learning. The pre and post test measuring process is consistent with the Malcolm Baldridge philosophy of continuous and measurable improvements. These tests also provide the direct measures required by accreditation organizations and government regulators.
